Before the Bell: Fed and economic-stimulus hopes in focus
Wall Street pointed lower on Monday, in a week during which the Fed is expected to launch another economic-stimulus effort. Europe’s bourses were lower as investors also awaited a ruling from Germany’s constitutional court on the legality of the European Stability Mechanism. Asia rose on hopes of economic-stimulus measures in the U.S. and China. And the euro slipped off three-month highs versus the dollar.
