Before the Bell: Earnings, China PMI, Spain in focus

Wall Street on Tuesday pointed lower, tracking losses in Europe, where sovereign-debt worries weighed heavily. U.S. investors also will parse a number of major earnings reports, including DuPont, AT&T, UPS and, after the closing bell, Apple. Asia got a lift from manufacturing reports in China. The dollar extended gains and bond traders awaited a U.S. auction of two-year securities.
